Mahatma School of Academics and Sports, established in the year June 1989, follows the Higher Secondary pattern under Maharashtra State’s Mumbai Board. MSAS, as it is popularly known, has a distinguished class of its own in the up-coming township of New Panvel, Navi Mumbai and in the entire district of Raigad. It has the unique distinction of combining an ancient ethos with modernity and traditional values with pragmatic dynamism.

Mahatma School of Academics and Sports and Junior College at Khanda Colony, New Panvel has range of facilities designed to create an ideal ambience for the education and growth of student. These include a hygienically maintained swimming pool, a sophisticated computer laboratory with more than 70 Pentium 4 computer sets, three separate state-of-art science laboratories for physics, chemistry and biology, a Child Information Resource Centre-cum-Library and a spacious playground with adequate sports material and handball and badminton courts.
