Shaurya Sandeep Jagtap Std. I (A2) (English Medium) student participating 35th State Roller Skating Championship.

Miss Manasvi Jayesh Bhagat from Std. 6th (English Medium) of Mahatma Education Society Mahatma School of Academics and Sports, Panvel (W) represented Maharashtra team in 11th Mini National Fencing Tournament held at Divisional Sports Complex Late Meenatai Thackeray Stadium Nashik from 5th to 7th August, 2022 in EPEE. She had won Silver Medal in Individual Category and Gold Medal in team event. More than 500 contestants from 25 states from all over India participated in this competition.

Master Tanmay Vinod Bhil from Std. 5th (English Medium) of Mahatma Education Society Mahatma School of Academics and Sports, Panvel (W) had represented in National Level Wrestling Championship 2022 held at Haridwar from 24th to 28th July, 2022 in Individual Category won Gold Medal.

Master Atharv Nilesh Masurkar from Std. 4th (English Medium) of Mahatma Education Society Mahatma School of Academics and Sports, Panvel (W) had represented Maharashtra team in Askam Maharashtra State Kickboxing Selection Championship 2022 held at Alandi, Pune from 22nd to 24th July, 2022 in Individual Category won silver medal & selected for National Championship at Jaipur.

Master Shubhankar Amit Patil from Std. 9th (English Medium). He had participated in Freestyle Recurve Round organized by National Field Indoor Archery Championship 2022 and has achieved medals as below: –

• U/19 boys category 1st Place in Mix Spot Event
• U/19 boys category 2nd Place in Team Event
• U/17 boys category 2nd place in Single spot
• U/17 boys category 2nd place in Team Event

which was held at, Mahad, Raigad from 24th to 27th March, 2022.

Miss Sara Baikar presently a student of std. 9th (English Medium). She has participated in International Taekwondo Championship Phoenix Martial Arts Academy India Poomsae (VDO Clip) Taegeuk#1 (Age Category- U14 Yrs. Female G1) and won Gold Medal.

Master Paras Dilip Bhoir presently a student of Std. 8th (English Medium), has participated in National Level Chess Championship organized by All India Chess Federation for second consecutive year and secured 6th Rank in U/12 open age group held through online system from 22nd June, 2021 to 24th June, 2021 and secured 27th Rank in U/14 open age group held at Ahmedabad, Gujarat from 9th May, 2022 to 14th May, 2022.

Ms. Trisha Sushant Kadam, Std. 4th won 1st Prize English Medium student of Mahatma School of Academics participating in the “Brain Craft Academy Abacus State Level Championship 2018” awarded Abacus which was held in January, 2018.

State Level

Mst. Harshwardhan Subhash Suryawanshi, Std. 5th (U/11 Boy) won Silver Medal and Miss. Ujjwala Subhash Suryawanshi, Std. 8th (U/14 Girl) won Bronze Medal English Medium student of Mahatma School of Academics participating in the “2nd S.K.A.I. International Karate Championship 2018” awarded in KATA which was held at Goa on 4th February, 2018.

International Level

Ms. Pooja Shankar Jagtap: Std. XII student of MSAS Junior college won Gold Medal at Jr. National Kick Boxing Championship held at Chandigarh on Novemebr 2017.

Mahatma School of Academics and Sports (English Medium), Swimming Girl (U/17) was awarded the first place in 50 mtr. Backstroke style competition which was held at Alibag on 23rd August, 2016.

Mr. Dattatrey Panduranga Patil, the Karate Coach was awarded the Gold Medal as a contestant in the Kumite event (Age Category – Open) in International Karate Championship organized by Shotokan Karate-Do Association of India held at Mapusa, Goa, on Sunday, 12th February 2017.

Master Harshwardhan Shubhash Suryawanshi is student of std. IV English Medium. He has participated in International Karate Championship organized by Shotokan Karate-Do Association of India held at Mapusa, Goa, on Sunday, 12th February 2017. As a contestant in the KATA (Age Category – 10-11) event and won Bronze Medal.

Miss Jui Vadnere is student of std. II English Medium. She has participated in 11th State Kung-Fu Championship 2016 organized by Association of Maharashtra Kung-Fu & Sports Kung-fu-Association of Mumbai held at Kandivali on 4th December 2016. As a contestant in the TAU-LU (Age Category – Sub. Jr.) event and won Gold Medal.

Ms. Manjiree Vivek Parkar, Std. VIII of MSAS English Medium made the country proud by winning a Silver and Bronze Medal respectively in Light contact and Point contact event of Karate Sub Junior “Wako Kick Boxing World Cup Diamond 2016” International Tournament which was held at Anapa, Russia, dated on 21st to 25th September, 2016.

Ms. Sonal Laxman Shewale, the P.T. teacher was awarded the Gold Medal as a contestant in the All Maharashtra Wushu association organised by all Nanded Dist. Wushu association 15th Senior State Wushu Championship 2017-18 on 18th to 21st August, 2017 at Guru Govind Singhji Stadium, Nanded.

Master Shubhankar Amit Patil, Std. III English Medium student of Mahatma School of Academics and Sports (U/14 Boy) won the “9th Cherukuri Lenin, Volga Memorial Under 14 National Archery Championship 2016” which was held at Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, dated on 11th to 16th November, 2016 at International level he won Gold Medal.

Miss. Pallavi Bapusaheb Yadav is student of Std. II Marathi Medium. She has participated in Navi Mumbai Mayor Cup Chess Competition organized by Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation held at Airoli, Navi Mumbai on 11th and 12th February, 2017 and secured First Place in U/9 Girls age group.

Miss. Manjiree V. Parkar student of Mahatma School of Academics and Sports (English Medium) won Gold Medal at an invitation International Karate Championship held at Sri Lanka. A total of 16 countries participated in the tourney.

Miss. Pratiksha Sekhar student of Mahatma School of Academics and Sports (Marathi Medium) won Bronze Medal at Maharashtra State School Wushu Championship.

4th All India Winter Sports Festival for Public School organized National Level Sports and Aerobics Competition at Alto Porvorim Sports and Cultural Club Panji, Goa on 4th to 8th February, 2015. We are glad to inform that two of our students from English Medium secured Gold Medal in that Competition.

The champions with Principal Mrs. Ramadevi Putta and coach Dutta Patil

Three boys from Mahatma School of Academics & Sports – Khanda Colony made us proud by winning one Gold, Silver & bronze in the District School Boxing Championship held at Mhasala / Mahad on 18th August, 2013. Out of four students, who were participated in the tournament, three came up with outstanding performance and won medals in the tournament.

Master Rohan R. Shelke a 10th Std. student who fought in the 70+kg category won the Gold Medal by beating everyone in this category. Master Akshay Vishnu Khot another 10th Std. student just missed his 50+kg title in a narrow margin and settled with Silver. The third medal came as a Bronze, where Master Shashank G. Mane a 9th Std. student fought it to the merit in 46+kg weight.

Mrs. Ramadevi Putta, Principal, MSAS congratulate the boxers for their excellent show in the district meet. Master Rohan R. Shelke is selected to represent the district team for the forthcoming School divisional Boxing championship.

CONGRATULATIONS, MSAS… WELL DONE

The Under 19 boys team of MSAS Khanda colony (New Panvel) emerged victorious at the District School Hand ball Championship held at CKT School ground on 6th September, 2012 organized by District Sports Office, Raigad.

On their way to the title MSAS beat APJ School Khargar with a score of (12-3), captain of the team Vivek Gore lead from the front and sail through his side to the semifinal with his own 06 goals contribution in the match. In the Semifinal match the Mahatmite were challenged by the defending champion St. Joseph High School Kalamboli, a strong side, but their efforts has been failed as the MSAS heroes strive ahead with a stunning margin of (11-7). Captain Vivek was strongly backed by Rahul Kedar and Girish Mohite sealed the fate of St. Joseph Kalamboli with their extra ordinary efforts.

In the finals it was an “Ashwamedh” for MSAS as the brilliant boy’s storm in to the Ryan International School, Khargar goal post eleven times in a row and the final tally was (11-0). Ryan International School, which reached the final with bigger hopes were not even failed to score once.
